THE TELEVISION CRITICS ASSOCIATION RECOGNIZES ITS MEMBERS WHO RECEIVED HONORS & NOMINATIONS AT THE 17TH ANNUAL L.A. PRESS CLUB NATIONAL ARTS & ENTERTAINMENT JOURNALISM AWARDS

The TCA Scored 29 Nominations with Four Top Wins 

LOS ANGELES –December 3, 2024 – The Television Critics Association (TCA) proudly salutes its members who received nominations and accolades during the 17TH Annual L.A. Press Club National Arts & Entertainment Journalism Awards—recognizing exemplary journalism in film, television, music, and more. TCA members were finalists in categories including Celebrity Feature, Commentary Analysis, Hard News, Entertainment Blog, and the prestigious David Robb Investigative Award, among many others.

Four TCA members took home awards during the ceremony held at the Millennium Biltmore Hotel in downtown Los Angeles on Sunday, December 1, including former TCA President Melanie McFarland of Salon winning the TV Critic category; Rick Ellis of AllYourScreens.com capturing the prestigious David Robb Investigative Award; former TCA Board Member Hanh Nguyen of Salon taking top honors for Film Feature, Actors Related, Online and Adam Chitwood of The Wrap garnering the win for Personality Profile, TV/Streaming Industry under 2,500 words.

“Congratulations to our TCA members, who consistently prove they are the best in the business,” said TCA President Jacqueline Cutler. “Covering TV has become a crowded field, and TCA members cover all aspects of it so deeply. It’s wonderful to see their innovative, smart journalism recognized.”
